It does very little to dissolve or soften the burnt on grill crud. Plus unlike other cleaners goo gone oven grill has no harsh chemicals or toxic fumes. Just need a little amount of gel for one use and it can be used for a long time. Both were proved to be wrong.

It s very thin and runs off the grates soon after they re sprayed. The oven cleaner reviews are quite high for this product. I sprayed the inside of the oven sides top back bottom and within minutes the grease kept dripping off. I am usually skeptical about items that seem to clean great but all i can say is wow.

I bought this product to clean my stainless steel grill grates after having good success with the goo gone oven and grill cleaner. After using it i see it doesn t work any better and perhaps slightly worse than any no name cheaper oven cleaner. Unfortunately it did not. The odor was overwhelming albeit not as bad as typical oven cleaners but still not pleasant.

It truly does not release noxious fumes in the air like most others do even when they claim the don t and it is very effective.
